Following Trinity’s 100th anniversary celebration, the complete revoicing of our organ and the ensuant celebration concert series, and more than two years of radically altered musical and liturgical practice, I am most grateful for a time of sabbatical this summer. I will be away May 15 through September 4. During that time, I plan on traveling to visit friends and family, as well as returning to a more disciplined practice of the organ. The highlight of my time away will be a six-week sojourn in Italy: two weeks studying Italian, two weeks as a playing participant in the Smarano Early Keyboards Academy, and two weeks of vacation at Lake Como and the Cinque Terre.

During my absence, Nara Lee, Kat Jolliff, and Jeffrey Smith will play the organ at the 10:00AM Sunday service. Starting in June, music at the 9:00AM summer garden service will be led on alternating weeks by parishioners Terence and Jeanne Mayhue and friend of Trinity Erin Benedict. We will again explore a variety of liturgical and musical styles. Come check it out!

Faithfully,
Michael
