LENT AT TRINITY
The Book of Common Prayer (p265) invites us “to the observance of a holy Lent, by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word.”

Wednesdays in Lent: Dinner Church
We move the Wednesday night 5:30 liturgy into the Fortune Room for an at-table Eucharist.
February 21, 28, March 6, 13, 20
5:30 – 6:45PM
During the early days of the church, believers would gather to share a sacred meal, eating together as an echo of Jesus’s last supper. In a return to those ancient roots, Dinner Church embeds the Eucharist into a family-style meal. We will gather in the Fortune Room for a meal with prayer, candles, songs, and meaningful conversation about scripture and our lives. Led by the clergy and parishioner Bryan Furuness.
Fridays in Lent: Praying the Stations of the Cross
February 16 – March 22 | 12:00pm
From Ash Wednesday through the season of Lent, our collection of the Stations of the Cross by artist Janet McKenzie will be on exhibit in the Church. Each Friday, beginning on February 16, members of our staff will lead the Stations liturgy, and the Church will be open from 12:00-1:00 for your personal devotion.
A short self-guided liturgy for praying the stations will also be available throughout the season, for use at other times when the Church is open.
Sundays in Lent: In the Wilderness
February 18, 25, March 3, 10, and 17
After the 10:00AM Service
How do we gain spiritual stability in a chaotic time? Over the course of the Lenten season you are invited to deepen your spiritual life by building community (Feb 18 – Spiritual Friendships), studying and practicing responses to temptations in the model of Christ (Feb 25-March 10), and exploring the art and music of Dupré’s The Way of the Cross (March 17).
Ongoing Small Groups
Commit to joining a small group for spiritual formation, in Lent and beyond.
