Indianapolis Pride Parade

Pride Parade and Festival on June 9
There are three ways to be involved in the Diocese of Indianapolis’s presence at the event:
  • March in the parade:  The parade will step off at 10 a.m., with marshaling near College and Massachusetts Avenues. Download the parade route. Participants will meet by 9 a.m. at Chatham Commons, located at 723 East Street, on the corner of East Street and E. St. Clair Streets. A bilingual prayer service will begin at 9:15 a.m. and the group will depart for the parade lineup at 9:45 a.m.
  • Work at the booth from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
  • Offer blessings and prayer:  Priests can volunteer to work at the festival booth, dressed in clericals and stoles, to offer blessings and prayer to those who visit the booth.
Parking is available at CFI School 2 located at at 725 N New Jersey Street. The cost is $10, and all proceeds will benefit a class trip for students.
