Administrative Assistant, Julie O’Mara, to attend the MBA program at Vanderbilt

On July 1, Julie O’Mara will be moving with her partner Ben and their dog Archer to Nashville, Tennessee where she will start her first-year as an MBA student at Vanderbilt University in the Owen Graduate School of Management. She was awarded the Forte Women’s Scholarship.

Julie started working at Trinity as the Administrative Assistant in August of 2016, a part-time position shared with St Nicholas Early Learning, LLC in the Trinity Outreach building. In August 2017, she joined Trinity full-time.

In her words, “I’ve always imagined myself going to graduate school but hadn’t had enough work experience to know what I wanted to study. Trinity and St. Nicholas provided the impetus to consider a business degree as I learned a financial system and served as the Office Manager at St Nicholas. Vanderbilt values my work experience and my double major from Butler University, BA in Vocal Performance and German, as they strive to have an MBA class with diverse backgrounds.
Thank you Trinity and St Nicholas for allowing me to grow into this community!”

Julie’s last day at Trinity is Friday, June 29.
